Okay I'm going to start a blog now.

It's 8:30 PM, the kids are watching Cinderella for the zillionth time, and I had a tough 3 1/2 hours driving the bus.  I have resolved again to go back to office work, but I'm sure I'll be over it by tomorrow.  I made the mistake of consuming 2 cups of coffee and that makes me so crabby I cannot stand myself!!!!

The kids wouldn't get ready to go soon enough for a breakfast outing so we went to the drugstore to get mouthwash for my Dad.  Unfortunately, Alyssa saw the Princess toothbrushes and wanted one right then adn I said no and she had a fit.  All the way to the car, almost the whole way to the nursing home.  I ended up promising a new toothbrush after visiting "Papa" and a trip to McDonalds.  I was thinking of bringing my Dad to McDonald's, he loves that outing, but when we got there he was in the bathroom and needing help from a nurse and he seemed tired and it was his nap time so it was just me and the girls.

I gave a CD to the activity director.  Carla Ulebricht comedy music CD "Sick Humor" is just the funniest thing I have ever heard and if you spend a lot of time around sick people or at docotors offices then you should get yourself a copy!!

I gave my Dad another DVD movie to watch, Kermit's Swamp Years.  He loves the Muppets and Fraggles.  THe girls did okay during the visit, and didn't raise a fuss when it was time t leave McDonalds.  We bought salads and yogurts and chocolate milk.  Yes, vegetarians can go to McDonalds.  I just wish a nice hippy veggie place would have a cool play area so I wouildn't be so tempted to give money to corporate giants.

Barely made it to work in time, we had to track down new toothbrushes.  I was glad to be out of the house but the drive was tough.  Office work really is much easier.  I can't believe I'm actually fantasizing about working all day in front of a computer!! I did that for years and hated it.  But now that I've been a mom for 5 years I'm way more patient, and have gotten quite used to constand demands.  Ohhhhhh I can't wait for September!  Kindergarten!  Woo hoo!!!
