stop buying crap to make me feel better

I'm hoping to hang out here instead of eBay.  Focusing much of my day on taking care of others (kids, my parents, etc.) I have been attempting to nurture myself by buying used stuff, clothes or books, etc.  Nothing pricey, but it all adds up, and I am trying to learn new ways to care for myself.
